You mention two ex-husbands elsewhere. What's up with that?I've been married three times and divorced twice. I had my daughters (whom I usually refer to as Chibi and Cherry online) with my first husband. He introduced me to my second husband, and for a while we were a polyamorous triad, but eventually my first husband and I split and I married the other man. My second husband and I moved to Los Angeles in 1997; we were monogamous for most of our marriage but then formed a quad with another couple. The quad and both marriages eventually broke up, but I am on speaking terms with both my ex-husbands. My first husband and I, in particular, coordinate visits etc. around our children, and I've had some good talks with my second husband. Do you have a partner or partners now?Often when a quad breaks up, none of the partners remain together. I'm happy to report that the "other guy" from the quad, Chris, and I have stayed together. We got married in November of 2006 and are very happy together. Six years together and counting! In Louisville, Kentucky, live the other half of our quad, Jason and Angela. We're all pretty happy about this thing we're in, but we're also aware that it's going to take a hell of a lot of work. I think we might be equal to the task...time will tell. We spend a lot of time visiting back and forth; we're hoping to get a house together in a year or two. Marq, who lives with his SO Claire on a farm in Pittsboro NC, is a wonderful guy I knew years ago back when we both lived in the DC area. It was amazing to find him again, and to rekindle our old flame (which was never consummated way back then). He and Claire (who is a marvelous trainer of dogs and other animals) and I are investing in a yak together for fiber and other purposes. It's gonna be awesome. My no-longer-ex-girlfriend Tam lives on the Jersey Shore. I wish she were closer, but we'll get together as we can. I'm so happy to be back together with her again; I love that girl.
